RICHI sinking fish feed machines mainly include two types: fish feed pellet mills and fish feed extruders. These two machines use different feed processing technologies. The fish feed pellet making machine compresses raw materials into dense pellets through strong pressure between the ring die and rollers. In contrast, the fish feed extruder processes materials under high temperature and pressure. It cooks and modifies the material inside the extrusion chamber. When the material is pushed out from the die holes, it expands and puffs up rapidly. As a result, it forms porous and loose feed pellets.

How well do your sinking fish feed mills handle high-oil formulations?
Our sinking fish feed machine utilizes a high-compression-ratio ring die and a forced feeding system to ensure that high-oil materials are still tightly formed, resulting in smooth, non-loose pellets. The pressure rollers and ring die are specially coated to reduce material slippage or die blockage caused by oil. However, if your formulation contains more than 10% oil, we recommend using an oil spraying machine to apply the coating after the pellets have cooled.
