What are the moisture content requirements for corn stalks in pelleting? Is pretreatment necessary?
The ideal moisture content for corn stalk pelleting is between 10-12%. Excessive moisture content results in loose, brittle pellets; insufficient moisture content increases energy consumption and equipment wear. RICHI pellet mills can be equipped with a drying system; if the raw material moisture content is too high, we recommend a matching drum dryer for pretreatment.

What are the density and durability of the finished pellets? Can they meet the requirements for transportation and storage?
Our corn stalk pellet machine produces pellets with a smooth surface and high hardness, which are not easily pulverized and can meet the requirements of long-distance sea and land transportation and long-term storage without the problem of moisture absorption or breakage.

What is the lifespan of the ring die and pressure rollers on your corn stalk pellet machine? Are they easy to replace?
The service life of ring dies and pressure rollers depends on the raw materials and output, typically exceeding 1000 hours. RICHI uses high-strength alloy steel ring dies, which undergo vacuum heat treatment, improving wear resistance by 30%. The ring dies feature a quick-release design, requiring no special tools.

Yes. The same machine can process various biomass raw materials such as corn stalks, wheat stalks, rice straw, soybean straw, peanut shells, and sawdust.
