Cattle Feed Production Line Process Flow
Our complete cattle feed production line consists of several key steps: first, breaking up the bale and crushing the raw materials into powder, then do batching and mixing, followed by pelleting, cooling, screening, and finally packaging.

Bale Breaking
01
First, use a baler to break up square or round bales and cut them into smaller pieces. Then, use a metal remover to remove impurities from the bales.
Crushing
02
Use a hay shredder to shred the broken hay into powder. If your feed formula contains a high amount of grains (corn, wheat, sorghum, soybean meal, etc.), it is recommended to use a hammer mill to grind them to about 3mm.
Batching & Mixing
03
First, we weigh and proportion the ground raw materials according to the preset formula. Then, all the materials are put into a mixer to be fully mixed, so that every part of the feed has a balanced and consistent nutritional content.
Pelleting
04
If your cattle feed formula contains a high amount of forage, we recommend that you use a forage-specific cattle feed pellet mill. It comes with a forced feeder that can easily handle high-fiber materials.
Cooling
05
The freshly made pellets, which are high in temperature and humidity, are sent to a cooler. They are cooled down to room temperature and dried to remove excess moisture—this prevents mold growth and makes the pellets harder and more durable.
Screening
06
After cooling, the pellets are screened. Qualified pellets are sent to the packaging stage, while any dust or oversized pellets are recycled for secondary processing, so no material is wasted.
Packaging
07
Finally, we use a packing scale to weigh the finished pellets, then bag and seal them, ready for use or storage.
