This South African sheep feed production line employs an advanced pelletizing process for sheep and cattle feed. The entire line encompasses a comprehensive series of stages—including raw material cleaning, crushing, mixing, pelletizing, cooling, screening, and packaging—and is equipped with a PLC automatic control system. It offers ease of operation and stable performance, enabling continuous production.

Cleaning Section:
First, remove impurities from the feed raw materials—items such as metal fragments, small stones, and loose threads must all be discarded. These raw materials typically consist of items like corn, soybean meal, and wheat bran. The customer’s forage raw materials do not need to be unpacked and can be directly crushed.

Crushing Section:
Use a feed hammer mill to grind the raw materials into a powder. The particle size should generally be controlled to within 3 mm.

Mixing Section:
In accordance with the requirements of the feed formula, thoroughly mix the raw materials—including grass meal, fish meal, cornmeal, soybean meal, and minerals—until completely uniform.

Pelleting Section:
Feed the mixed ingredients into the sheep feed pellet machine to press them into pellets.

Cooling and Screening Section:
Use a counterflow pellet cooler to cool down the freshly pressed sheep feed pellets to ambient temperature, resulting in harder and more stable pellets. Subsequently, a vibrating screen is employed to sift out any fines and substandard pellets, thereby ensuring the finished product consists of pellets of uniform size.

Finished Product Packaging Section:
Use an automatic packaging machine to weigh the finished sheep feed pellets, then bag and package them.
