Aqua feed machine is a highly integrated and specialized processing system. Its core objective is to precisely transform aquatic feed raw materials such as fishmeal, shrimp meal, grains, soybean meal, fish oil, phospholipids, vitamin premixes, minerals, and functional additives into nutritionally balanced, appropriately sized, and highly water-stable feed pellets for aquatic animals such as fish, shrimp, and crabs.

Raw Material Cleaning

Remove metallic impurities (nails, screws, etc.), stones, hemp rope, and other contaminants from the raw materials. These impurities can damage subsequent equipment and affect feed quality and animal safety.
Fine Grinding

The cleaned raw materials are crushed into fine powder that meets the requirements, which can improve the quality of pellet formation, enhance stability in water, improve the digestibility and absorption rate of aquatic animals, and meet the small-bite feeding needs of fish and shrimp.
Batching & Mixing

According to scientific feed formulation, various pulverized raw materials (such as fish meal, soybean meal, flour, premixed feed – vitamins, minerals, etc.) are precisely measured and uniformly mixed. This is the core step in ensuring a balanced diet.
Conditioning

The mixed powder is subjected to steam heat treatment, which promotes starch gelatinization and protein denaturation, improving feed digestibility. The material becomes soft and elastic, making it easier to shape, while also achieving a sterilization effect and improving feed safety.
Pelleting (mainly for sinking fish feed)

The pelleting process is mainly used to produce sinking fish feed. The conditioned material is fed into a feed pellet machine and squeezed into the fixed ring die hole by rotating pressure rollers. Under the action of huge pressure and friction, the material is compressed and extruded from the die hole, and cut into pellets of the required length by cutters outside the gate.
Extrusion (all types of aquatic feed)

Extrusion technology can produce any type of aquatic feed, especially suitable for producing high-grade fish and shrimp feed. Inside the extruder cavity, the material undergoes higher temperatures, pressures, and shearing, causing the moisture in the material to instantly turn into water vapor. When the material is extruded from the die into an atmospheric pressure environment, the water vapor rapidly expands, causing the material to form a porous, loose structure.
Drying

The drying process is mainly for expanded materials. The expanded particles have a high moisture content (about 25%-30%), and the moisture content must be reduced in time (to 10%-12%) to facilitate storage and subsequent spraying.
Coating

A post-coating process is used to avoid damaging heat-sensitive nutrients (such as vitamins and enzymes) due to high-temperature processing. A vacuum sprayer is used to evenly apply liquids such as grease or vitamins, allowing them to penetrate the particles.
Cooling

The feed pellets after pelleting and spraying are at a high temperature and contain a small amount of moisture. The purpose of cooling is to reduce the pellets to around room temperature, while evaporating the surface moisture, making the pellets harder for easier storage and transportation.
Screening

Vibrating grading screen is used to remove powder and broken particles from cooled pellets, ensuring a uniform appearance of the finished feed and allowing powder to be recycled back into the production process, reducing waste.
Packaging

Finished feed is accurately weighed using a packaging scale, automatically filled into packaging bags, then sent to a sewing machine or heat sealing machine for sealing, and finally stacked and stored in the warehouse.

Raw material Precleaner
Precleaner is used in the raw material cleaning process to remove impurities such as hemp rope, stones, and metal shavings from raw materials such as fish meal and soybean meal.

Ultra-Fine Grinder
Ultra-fine grinder can grind raw materials to a very fine particle size ( ≥ 80 mesh), which helps improve feed digestibility, water stability, and pellet formation.
It employs direct drive, and a scientifically designed hammer arrangement and hammer-screen gap ensure uniform fineness of the finished product. A variety of screen sizes are available to meet the needs of different customers.

Fish feed Mixer
Mixer can quickly and uniformly mix various powdered raw materials, premixes, and small amounts of added oils and water, achieving a mixing uniformity of up to 97.7% (coefficient of variation 2.3%).

Aquatic Feed Extruder Machine
Feed extruder machine is core equipment for producing high-end aquatic feeds. Through high temperature, high pressure, and high shear, starch is fully gelatinized, resulting in high maturity, improved feed digestibility.
It offers high operability, allowing for flexible production of floating, sinking, and slow-sinking aquatic feeds with varying degrees of expansion, density, and shape by adjusting process parameters.

Aqua feed Dryer
It is designed to dry high-temperature and high-humidity extruded feed from the extruder, reducing its moisture content for easy storage.
Adopting the circulating drying principle, hot air fully contacts materials, enabling uniform and gentle drying with low energy consumption. This effectively prevents surface cracking of feed caused by rapid moisture loss.

Vacuum Coater
Vacuum coater is used to coat aquatic feed pellets with oils and liquid biological preparations (enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants, amino acids, etc.).
The equipment produces uniform coating, high coverage, and low breakage. Compared to atmospheric pressure spraying, it allows for the addition of a higher proportion of oils, significantly improving the nutritional value and palatability of the feed.

Fish feed pellet Cooler
The counter-flow cooler utilizes the principle of counter-current flow of cold air and hot particles to cool high-temperature, high-humidity particles.
It employs a closed-loop feeder with a large air intake area, leading to significant cooling effects. The octagonal cooling chamber minimizes dead zones.

Aqua feed Screen
It can screen finished feed, separating qualified products and sieving out excessively fine powder and excessively large or agglomerated particles for reprocessing.
It offers high screening efficiency, stable operation, and low noise. Two-layer, three-layer, and dual-feed two-layer screens can be customized to accommodate feed products of different particle sizes. No oil lubrication is required, avoiding oil leakage.
