10-15 T/H Poultry Feed Production Line in Uzbekistan

Modernized and automated poultry feed production line contribute to agricultural development in Uzbekistan.

Overview of Uzbekistan 10-15 T/H Poultry Feed Production Line

— Richi Machinery —

The poultry farming industry in Uzbekistan is developing rapidly, leading to a continuously increasing demand for high-quality poultry feed. Abundant local agricultural resources such as corn and wheat provide ample raw materials for feed production. Within this context, the client plans to construct a 10-15 T/H automated chicken feed production line capable of producing both mash and pellet feed. This project aims to meet the demand for premium feed from the local and surrounding chicken farming industries, thereby promoting the scaling-up and modernization of poultry farming.

  • Pellet Diameter: 0.5-12 mm chicken feed (covering all stages from chicks to adult chickens)
  • Mash Feed: Formulated to meet the nutritional requirements of specific breeding stages
  • Raw Materials: Corn, wheat, sunflower meal, oil/fat, premix, etc.
  • Plant Specifications: 35m (L)×20m (W)×25m (H)
  • Raw Material Storage: 500-ton silo storage system

Project Background & Market Demand

Uzbekistan, a key agricultural country in Central Asia, has witnessed rapid development in its poultry farming industry in recent years. However, the local feed production capacity is limited, failing to meet the demand for high-quality feed in the farming sector. This project aims to fill this market gap by providing nutritionally balanced and stable-quality poultry feed.

Current Status of Poultry Farming in Uzbekistan

With rising incomes, per capita annual poultry consumption has increased significantly, driving the expansion of the local poultry and livestock farming industry. The number of farms has steadily increased, reaching nearly 50 by 2025. The Uzbek government has also provided strong policy support for poultry farming, further boosting its development. However, local feed production capacity is limited and cannot meet the industry’s demand for high-quality feed, necessitating partial reliance on imports.

Local feed market analysis

The Uzbekistan feed market currently faces the following challenges:

  • Small-scale feed production enterprises with outdated technology and equipment.
  • Unstable product quality and unbalanced nutritional composition.
  • Low production efficiency and high costs.
  • Insufficient production capacity to meet the rapidly growing demand from livestock farming.
  • Lack of scientific formulation and low feed conversion rate.

Uzbekistan 10-15 T/H poultry feed production line project adopts internationally advanced feed production technology to ensure product quality and production efficiency. The production line mainly includes processes such as raw material receiving, crushing, batching & mixing, conditioning, pelletizing, cooling, screening, and finished product packaging.

Poultry Feed Pellet Production Line Full Process Flow

Newly delivered raw materials (corn, wheat, sorghum, soybean meal, wheat bran, etc.) may contain stones, weeds, metal fragments, or even moldy particles. These can damage equipment or cause animal health problems, so they need to be screened and cleaned.

The cleaned raw materials, based on their different characteristics, are fed into a drop-type hammer mill for crushing to an appropriate particle size. This prepares the materials for subsequent nutrient mixing and forming.

According to the feed formula, all raw materials are precisely weighed and proportioned. The prepared raw materials are poured into a mixer and stirred at high speed to ensure that all raw materials are mixed evenly, preventing animals from being picky eaters and ensuring nutritional balance. At this stage, other feed additives (meat and bone meal, amino acids, fish meal, vitamins, etc.) can also be added to improve the nutritional value of the feed.

The mixed raw materials enter the conditioner through the feeding hopper, where they are thoroughly mixed with steam and water. The process of sterilizing, maturing, and gelatinizing the raw materials is carried out in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment, laying the foundation for subsequent pelletizing.

The conditioned materials are transported via conveying equipment to the feed pellet mill. Through the extrusion action of the rollers and die, they are formed into pellet feed of various specifications. The pellet mill can flexibly adjust die and cutter parameters according to pellet size requirements, ensuring precise control over the final pellet dimensions.

Freshly made pelleted feed is hot and has a high surface moisture content, so it needs to be cooled to room temperature by a counter-flow cooler to prevent mold growth.

After cooling, the feed pellet is screened by a vibrating screen to separate qualified pellets, broken pellets, and powder. Qualified pellets enter the finished product warehouse to await packaging, while broken pellets and powder are recycled for secondary processing.

The screened, qualified finished feed is transported via conveying equipment to an automatic packing system, where it is weighed and packaged according to preset weights.
