The production line features excellent adaptability to extreme environments and can operate stably at a low temperature of -30℃. To tackle the frigid conditions, core equipment components such as motors and bearings are all equipped with a low-temperature start-up protection system, which can effectively prevent equipment failures caused by low temperatures and ensure the normal operation of the production line. Meanwhile, the workshop adopts an integrated thermal insulation and anti-freezing design, guaranteeing the stable operation of the production line even in low-temperature environments.

Cold-water fish feed requires the addition of fish oil, which places strict requirements on the performance of the feed extruder. The feed extruders produced by RICHI excel in wear resistance and uniform oil addition—they can withstand long-term processing of high-fat raw materials while ensuring that fish oil is evenly mixed into the feed.

In addition, the production line adopts vacuum post-spraying technology, which can effectively protect heat-sensitive nutrients. This technology ensures that the retention rate of these key nutrients in the pellets is ≥95%, fully safeguarding the nutritional value of the cold-water fish feed.

The production line is equipped with a quick die-changing system, which enables flexible adjustment of pellet sizes to meet the different feed particle size requirements of fish species at various growth stages. The finished pellets can cover a variety of specifications, ranging from 0.5mm (for fry feed) to 6mm (for adult fish feed).

  1. Raw Material Pre-treatment : Drum cleaning screens, permanent magnet cylinders, and iron removers are utilized to eliminate impurities such as stones, string, plastic, metal fragments, and iron filings from the raw materials, ensuring their purity.
  2. Grinding: The cleaned raw materials are directed, based on their specific characteristics, to a water-drop type hammer mill for initial coarse grinding, followed by further processing in a ultra-fine grinder to achieve the desired fine particle size, preparing them for subsequent mixing and forming.
  3. Batching and Mixing: Based on the nutritional requirements of different fish species and growth stages, precisely weighed proportions of ground raw materials, vitamins, minerals, and other additives are thoroughly blended in a mixer to ensure uniform distribution of all nutrients.
  4. Pelleting: The uniformly mixed powder is conveyed to the pellet mill. Here, through screw extrusion and die molding, it is formed into pellet feed of various specifications. The extruder can be flexibly adjusted by changing the die and cutter settings to ensure precise control over the final pellet size.
  5. Drying and Cooling: The newly extruded pellets are transferred to a mesh-belt dryer, where hot air rapidly reduces the moisture content to meet safe storage standards. The dried feed then enters a counter-flow cooler, which brings the pellets down to ambient temperature, enhancing their hardness and stability.
  6. Screening and Finished Product Packaging: A screening machine is used to remove off-spec pellets and fines. The qualified final product is directed to the finished product bin and then weighed and packaged using a fully automatic packing scale.
