How the Animal Feed Hammer Mill Works
Below, we briefly outline the working principle of the the RICHI animal feed hammer mill, providing you with a clear understanding of the equipment’s high efficiency and reliable quality.
The feeder feeds raw materials evenly into the crushing chamber. First, they are struck forcefully by the high-speed rotating hammers for initial crushing.
Driven by the strong airflow from the rotor, the materials move along with the air flow, and repeatedly collide, rub, tear and shear against the tooth plates inside the chamber for secondary crushing.
Fine materials that meet the size requirement will pass through the screen at the bottom. Coarse materials that are not fine enough will stay inside the machine to undergo further crushing until they meet the proper size criteria.
