Wet type fish feed extruder is the core equipment in the aquafeed industry for the large-scale production of high-quality floating/sinking fish feed.
Unlike dry-type extruders, wet-type fish feed extruders are equipped with a conditioner. Raw materials
enter the conditioner where steam and water are injected, and maturation, gelatinization and sterilization are completed under high temperature and high pressure.
This process gelatinizes starch and denatures protein, improving pellet stability and digestibilit. Meanwhile, it allows precise control of pellet density to produce qualified floating and sinking pellets. The materials are then extruded through the die holes and expanded by instant pressure release to form feed pellets.
