Raw Material Pre-cleaning

Crushing

Grinding the cleaned raw materials to the fineness most suitable for granulation directly affects the granulation rate, surface smoothness, and specific surface area of the final product (affecting water absorption rate and agglomeration hardness).
Drying (for wood cat litter）

When producing wood cat litter, if the raw material has a high moisture content (>15%), the pulverized raw material needs to be dried before pelleting to reduce its moisture content to the optimal range required by the pelleting process (usually 10%-15%).
Conditioning (for Bentonite & Tofu cat litter）

If bentonite cat litter and tofu cat litter are to be produced, a conditioning process needs to be added. The pulverized bentonite powder is fed into a conditioner and steam and water are introduced to activate the binding properties of the bentonite, preparing it for efficient granulation.

The materials are fed into the cat litter pellet machine through a screw feeder. The materials are squeezed through the die holes on the ring die by the strong squeezing action of the roller and the ring die to form dense pellet strips, which are then cut into a set length by the cutter.

Separate the finished pellets that meet the required size, remove powder and fragments, and ensure the low dust characteristics of the cat litter.
